Thank you to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge their championship show over the prestigious festival weekend at Crick.

MPD. (4)

1st Clausen and Mertz Maxidan’s Kiss My Jazz Goodbye. BPD and then BPIS with the agreement of my co-judge. Congratulations . Well deserved. The most eye catching dark brindle, well presented and moving with purpose. Correct headpiece. Narrow skull well set ears, correct dentition, dark eye, correct length of foreface, correct drop of lip. Filled in front. Long arched neck leading into a correct lay of shoulder and then a level, well held topline. Good angulation for his age front and rear. Covered the ground well coming and going.

2nd Hobbs Maxidan’s Kickstart My Heart A lighter coloured Brindle who I discovered was litter brother to my 1st place. He was very unsettled but I did manage to examine him. Correct dentition. Good length of foreface and well set ears. Correct drop of lip. Eyes a little loose at present. Filled front. Adequate length of neck. Good topline when settled. Rear angles to drop Moved ok. I thought he would benefit by losing a little weight. Look forward to seeing him as he grows and settles with his handler.

Bitches Judge

Minor Puppy Bitch (1)

1st Dean’s Sweet Destiny At Rycerdanes, Mantle, 8 months, pretty feminine, pleasing overall and although stood alone was worthy of her placing. Not the tallest and a little long cast however flows all through with good angles at both ends. Elegant head piece, length of foreface, good dentition, dark kind eyes, pasterns need to firm up, ribcage well developed, firm, level topline, moderate croup, pleasing picture and retained her outline on the move.

Puppy Bitch (0)

Junior Bitch (5,1)

1st Ferguson’s Renescent Too Hot To Handle For Chateaudain, Blue, 13 months. Topped a good class of varying type and was impressed with her flowing grace of body with a tight jacket. Most feminine headpiece of good proportion, good even bite, clean flews, elegant, firm neck, straight front legs, tight feet, well up on leg for height, sufficient ribbing, firm topline. Reasonable croup, rear angulation is there but she still needs to strengthen her muscletone which reflects on the move. Good length of stride with good footfall. Lots to admire about this youngster.

2nd Stanton’s Goldania’s Diva Princess, Fawn, 17 months, more substantial all through and another that flows, just losing out to winner with her erratic, lively, movement right now. Her headpiece is strong yet retaining elegance, clean and well chiselled with good pigment, dark well-placed eyes, teeth well-spaced, strong bone, good front legs into tight feet, short coupling, firm, level back with average croup, width and depth all through. Well developed rear angulation. Her movement was true from all angles albeit played her handler up more than she should.

3rd Pocock’s Tamzdane Ooey Gooey Cake, Harlequin, 15 months.

Yearling Bitch (2,1)

1st Dyson’s Primus Diamonds Are Forever Samdice, Brindle, 23 months. Alone but a worthy winner, in fact she made it down to the final four in the challenge. Lovely coat and colour, Appealing head, good stop, dark eye, correct dentition, lovely length to foreface, elegant neck, strong, straight front legs, tight feet, well developed ribbing, touch long in loin, sufficient tuck up, moderate croup, good width, muscle to stifle, adequate rear angulation. She carries herself well on the move, loose lead, head high with good foot placement from all angles.

Novice Bitch (3,1)

1st Pocock’s Tamzdane Appley Ever After J.W., lightly marked Harlequin, crystal white background, 17 months, well put together for her age. Elegant, feminine headpiece with lovely long foreface, correct teeth, strength and flow of neck, straight front legs, tight feet, long flowing neck, elbows tucked in, developed ribcage, level topline, moderate croup. Moved well from all angles.

2nd Tempest’s Adoreadane May West (AI), Harlequin, 16 months. Lovely tight coat, strong headed, wall eyes, width of stifle, well-muscled all through, level topline and good width of stifle. Moved soundly albeit a little erratic given her age and a tendency to carry her tail a little high.

Graduate Bitch (4,1)

1st Price’s Devorins Zola Via Leamap, Reserve in Junior, gleaming solid Black in excellent condition, 17 months, dark eye, appealing expression, strong neck, short coupled, average croup, needs to drop, and strengthen, behind. Moved a little too quickly, albeit soundly, causing her to overstep.

2nd Brooke’s Danemoor Penny Lane, Blue, 3 years. A little hesitant at first but we she overcame that, pleasing overall picture, pretty feminine head with well set eye, good teeth, straight front legs, level topline, good tuck up.

3rd Evan’s Belarosedane Lady Bayleigh, Harlequin, 2 years.

Post Graduate Bitch (7,0)

1st Baker’s Taradanes Shining Star Over Preveli, Fawn, 2 years, down to the final four in consideration for the certificates. Feminine, good pigmentation not the biggest but all in proportion dark, well set eye, feminine head, good teeth, defined stop, moderate shoulder lay, solid, arched neck, well developed ribcage, firm level topline which she always maintains, good tuck up, strong width of stifle and turn of rear angulation, this was apparent on the move, free flowing.

2nd Jacque’s & Kirby’s Jacqukir Time For A Change, Fawn, 3.5 years and gave 1 a challenge at times, medium colour eye, quizzical expression which she uses to her advantage, reasonable neck, level back line which she kept at all times, moderate croup, average angulation and would benefit from stronger hocks. Handler certainly got the best from her.

3rd Merwick’s Taradanes Star Vision For Salaan, Brindle, 2 years.

Limit Bitch (6,1)

1st Graig & Di Paolantonio’s Culseadanes Janet Weiss, Fawn, almost 3 years, compact, short coupled, not the biggest although balanced all through and sound on the move. Pleasing head and expression, clean eye, well chiselled head, average neck into broad shoulders, firm topline and reasonable angulation behind. Sound moving.

2nd Worsley’s Primus Encore Avec Malpa, Fawn, 2.5 years. On the stance I felt this would be my winner in this class but didn’t move as positively as I would have liked. Strong head piece, lovely black mask and shading around the eye, kind eyes, good teeth, held on a flowing, clean, neck into level back, reasonable depth to ribbing and clean underline, good tuck up.

3rd Dyson’s Primus Bond Girl With Samdice, Brindle, almost 2 years.

Special Veteran (4,2)

1st Tempest’s Ch. Adoreadane Just The Ticket J.W., Harlequin, defied her 8.5 years and was quite the showgirl throughout, moderate neck, well filled in front, straight front legs on good tight feet. Excellent ribbing, firm level back, she carries herself well on the move, always retaining her topline. Lots of enthusiasm, seemingly will do anything for food! Exuberant, agile, length of stride and sound moving, gave her all throughout and a credit to her owner/breeder.

2nd White’s Jutlanders Are You Ready J.W., Fawn, 7 years. Free flowing outline of good proportions, feminine head, good length, correct bite, kind dark eye, reasonable neck, spring of ribcage, level topline more lethargic on the move in comparison to the winner.

Special Open Harlequin Bitch (5,0)

1st Tempest’s Adoreadane Licence To Kill (AI), 2.5 years, difficult choice between these, both with varying virtues. Crystal white background, well placed markings, elegant throughout and very attentive using her ears to advantage. Pleasing head piece of reasonable proportions, strong neck with crest, straight legs, tight feet, level topline. Moved okay, sound.

2nd Pocock’s Tamzdane Banana’s On The Rum, 3 years, dark eye, heavier type and longer in loin. Straight front legs, tight feet, firm topline, strong angulation with width, good turn of stifle and hocks placed well. Sound moving.

3rd Henshall’s Calchas Addition (AI), almost 3 years.

Special Open Fawn Bitch (4,0)

1st Cranfield’s Zefather’s Kind Of Magic J.W., 2.5 years. Lovely tight coat in super condition, she really did turn on the performance here and there was no denying her this win today. Up on her toes, attentive, neck fully extended and melting expression – from all angles she ticked many boxes for me. Head piece of correct proportion, good length to skull, foreface, parallel planes, dark eye and good pigment, correct dentition, lovely length of neck, used it to her advantage here with the desired crest. Correct, tight feet. Her front assembly is well made, correct layback, width and depth with no exaggeration. A clean flow from neck, shoulder into topline, sufficient spring of rib and tuck up, has good width to her croup, her stifles and her hocks were parallel when stood. She is longer coupled but carried herself well, today she carried her tail well at all times, her foot fall worked well and she moved with purpose both coming and going. BCC.

2nd Lawson’s Murrayvhayle Missbehave At Droolakiss, 2 years. Head of good proportions from all angles with correct bite, strong underjaw, well-set eye and bridge of nose. Substantial body, good strong type, overall pleasing outline with short coupling, well balanced, well laid shoulders with fill to front, firm front legs with good pasterns and feet, well developed ribcage, firm topline into reasonable croup, with width, sufficient angulation to the rear again with good width to hocks, a little erratic on the move causing her to be out at elbow, but very sound and confident.

3rd Clark’s Garsak On Fire At Mintrex, almost 3 years.

Special Open Black Bitch (3,2)

1st Evan’s Belarosedane Beany Babybel, 2.5 years, conditioned coat albeit too much white, feminine head of good length, prefer a little longer foreface, kind dark, well set, eyes, average neck, reasonable fill to front, firm topline, reasonable croup and width, would benefit from a touch more angulation, she was a little flighty today, was sound on the move but her legs were erratic!

Special Open Brindle Bitch (3,0)

1st Merwick’s Taradanes Star Vision For Salaan, Brindle, 2 years, was third in PG and topped a very challenging class here. Not the biggest, although sound on the move, feminine head with sufficient foreface, firm topline, good tight feet.

2nd Searle’s Murrayvhayle Mystical, coming up 4 years. Big upstanding type. Excellent bone and substance throughout, strong head piece with appealing eye shape albeit would prefer them a little darker, good teeth and underjaw, good neck, firm legs with tight feet, well filled in front, muscled would benefit from a touch more angulation in the rear played her handler up on the move.

3rd Morgan’s Rimor Boadixiya, 2.5 years.

Special Open Mantle Bitch (3,0)

1st Smith’s Lambrini Diamonds N’ Rust, 3.5 years, elegant all through with flowing outline although a little long cast, pretty head with appealing dark eye, well chiselled and would appeal in any colour. Reasonable length of neck, straight legs with tight feet good, firm topline, average croup, reasonable angulation behind with good width between hocks, places her feet naturally well,

2nd Hayter’s Damarkann Secret Dare With Steverah, 16 months, not the biggest, head of reasonable proportion with good length of foreface, good teeth, sufficient neck, needs to sort her front pastern and feet placement but time is on her side, reasonable length of neck, firm topline, sufficient rear angulation, sound on the move.

3rd Hayter’s Damarkann Raydiance With Steverah, 4.5 years.

Special Open Blue Bitch (6,2)

1st Hayter’s Taysca Stele Mici With Steverah, 2 years. Heavier type, strong head piece, good teeth, firm level topline, good angulation to rear with strong hocks, tight feet all round, coat not at its best today. Movement sound with good drive from the rear.

2nd Wright’s Novavida Sweet Iris At Irieusdane, 3 years. Pleasing overall, head with quizzical expression, elegant, well filled in front, good legs with tight feet, level topline, croup could be better, reasonable angulation although well-muscled throughout.

3rd Brooke’s Danemoor Penny Lane, 3 years.

Open Bitch (6,1)

1st Clark’s Ch. Garsak Summer Days At Mintrex, Fawn, 3.5 years. Slighter frame to the CC winner however balanced all through. Beautiful black mask, eye shading, dark eye, moderate neck, filled in front and good straight front with tight feet, level topline with good tuck up. Good croup and well-set rear, width and turn of stifle. Very well-conditioned and presented. On the move she strides out, with purpose, and has good footfall. RCC.

2nd Harrison’s Rioco My One And Only To Jasnettdanes J.W., Fawn in gleaming condition, tight coat, almost 3 years. Pleasing balanced profile and sound on the move. Elegant head piece of good length, clean chiselling and well-set ears which she uses to her advantage, dark eye. Long, clean neck, moderate shoulder, sufficient width and depth of body with firm topline. Carries herself well on the move, with purpose.

3rd Martin’s Keishant Venus, Fawn, 5 years.
