I would like to thank The Great Dane Breeders And Owners for inviting me to judge dogs at their back to back open show on Sunday 20th October, I enjoyed my day and was very happy with all my winners. I did have some dogs that could have really done with a bath before they attended.

Minor puppy Dog 6 (1)
1st Dysons Samdice My Hero (ai) 7 month old fawn with plenty of bone, this boy has a stunning male head well chiselled, correct drop of lip, dark mask & nice dark eye , he uses his ears to advantage which gives him a very alert look. Long well arched neck going into well laid shoulders, strong topline stood and on the move. Good rear angulation, well filled chest for his age Best puppy dog and Best puppy in show. Should have a very bright future.
2nd Mackenzies Carson Orhien Black of 6 months old, another with plenty of bone to grow into, pleasing head with dark eye, and good drop of lip. Good topline on the stand but doesn’t hold himself as well on the move at the moment and drops slightly at the croup, well filled chest,
3rd Wallis & Simmonds Adoreadane Just The Jazz For Danojan.

Puppy Dog 3
1st Donnellys Primus Keeper 9 Month old fawn who is at the leggy stage at the moment and standing bum high. Good head and neck well filled chest, striding out, side profile was good but moved a little close behind coming and going.
2nd Benson & Hookers Sharandane Sir Tarquin 9 month old well marked Harlequin, pleasing head, ears a little too large at the moment, still needs to fill out in chest ok topline and croup, good rear angulation , moved well once settled.
3rd Bollons Bandwar For Aces High.

Junior Dog 5 (1)
1st Donnellys Primus Breaking News, This dog caught my eye as soon as he was stood, he has so much dash and dare about him that he couldnt be ignored. Fawn of 16 months old, correct head planes and drop of lip, lovely dark eye and dark mask. Uses his ears to advantage, Good width of chest and well filled, holds his topline stood and on the move, well arched neck going into well laid shoulders, enough rear angulation, I am sure he will have a very bright future. Best Dog and Res Best in show.
2nd Ryans Keirkanes King of the Throne, Again another very promising fawn youngster of 17 months, Does not have the size or substance as my winner but still very correct & balanced, looks a real picture stood, correct angles front and rear with a stunning long arched neck, just doesn’t have the head I preferred on my winner, moved out very well.
3rd Peppers Danemoor Black Watlife For Sarawen.

Yearling Dog 3 (1)
1st Peppers Sarawen Arch Deacon. Solid Blue, Correct head planes and dark eye, this boy`s body still needs to mature and fill out in chest, good amount of bone, tight feet. Holds his topline on the move but does drop of at the croup. Needs to strengthen behind.
2nd Simpsons Renescent It`s Hammer Time. Strong head with too much drop of lip, broad in back skull well filled chest and plenty of bone, lovely tight cat like feet. Good Dentition. Glowing black Coat Moved very erratic.

Novice Dog 4 (2)
1st Mackenzies Carsan Arianell. Very promising 6 month old blue, correct head planes and dark eyes plenty of bone and tight feet, held his topline well on the move, well filled chest and spring of rib. Correct rear angulation for his age, moved well.
2nd Benson & Hookers Tamzdane Lord Of The Rings. Harlequin little Broad in back skull and short in foreface, dark eye, well filled out chest. Topline and croup could be better, moved ok once settled.

Post Grad Dog 1
1st Robinsons Preveli Be Yourself. Fawn, nice outline, good head planes and length of foreface, good topline and moved well, could benefit from having his nails cut.

Limit Dog 4 (1)
1st Chappell & Williams Selmalda The Journey JW. Impressive large fawn male, good head planes and dark eye, well arched neck going into well laid shoulders, lovey cat like feet strong topline stood and on the move, moved ok. Res Best Dog.
2nd Colletts Foaldown Secret Mission. I preferred the head on this dog beautiful head with great length and strength of jaw, fawn with dark mask and dark eye. Well arched neck going into well laid shoulders and well filled chest, good spring of rib, this boy let himself down on the stand letting his topline go, this was held better on the move but with not enough confidence.

Special Veteran Dog 2 (1)
1st Blacks Bandwar Happy As Larry JW, 7 year old Harlequin, Moved so well in this class, was sad to see him lame in the Veteran challenge with the Bitch. Nice out line in Profile, good hindquarters, Head ok, adequate chest.

Special Open Brindle Dog 1
1st ELLIS-Khanna`s Roucandane The Illusionist, well mark Brindle, Lovely dark mask & dark eye, good depth of brisket and well filled chest, well arched neck going into good shoulder placement, strong topline looks a picture on the stand and side profile, moves a little close behind.

Special Open Fawn Dog 3 (1)
1st Colletts Foaldown Secret Mission was 2nd in my limit class but had a different handler in this one and moved so much better and more relaxed.

Special Open Black Dog. 2
1st Harrisons Leamap Strongbow At Jasnettdanes, Has really Matured since I judge him last, in Gleaming condition, well presented smart boy, Good Head planes, Arched neck, Shoulders could be cleaner, Good rear Angulation, Moved well once settled.
2nd Peppers Danemoor Black Watlife For Sarawen, was 3rd in a good junior class, Body still Immature and needs to tone up, lovely arched Neck going into better laid shoulders then my winner, Tends to crab on the move.

Special Open Blue Dog 3 (1)
1st Price`s Leapmap Chivas Regal JW, This is a upstanding male, good head planes, dark eyes, clean all over, well balanced. Moved well.
2nd Peppers Serawen Arch Deacon.

Special Open Harlequin Dog 2
1st Shadbolts Akura Final Frontier, well built and well balanced with a lovely outline a little broad in back skull and too much lip, Moved very well.
2nd Benson & Hookers Tamzdane Lord Of The Rings.

Special Open Mantle Dog.
1st Scarsbrook Ravendane Hocus Pocus, 4th in Junior Dog, Body still Immature and needs to drop in chest. Gleaming coat, Good Dentition. Moved more settled in this class.
