I would like to thank the committee of the GDB&OA for inviting me to judge bitches at their Open back to back show at the Cricket Connexion at Ryton-on-Dunsmore & for the exhibitors who came under me with their Danes. I enjoyed going over the exhibits & overall I was pleased with my principle winners. But I do think the quality in the breed is going down in the show ring & we do need to make improvements in the future.

1st Park’s Rayjen Aces High Striking, 7 months blue puppy. Correct feminine head with good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Level topline which she kept on the move. Well angulated quarters for her age. Tight catlike feet. Shown in lovely condition. Looking very promising for her age;

2nd Pocock’s Tamzdane All Or Nutting, nicely marked 6 months harle puppy. Lovely head & neck. Good angulation. Still playful & erratic on the move. Not as mature as one but another very promising puppy; 

3rd Middleton’s Dornoir Ain.

1st Tempest’s Adoreadane Make Your Marc, well put together 9 months mantle puppy. Nice feminine head with good length of neck. Good front. Level topline with good croup. Touch long in loin. Well angled front & back. Tight feet. Covered the ground on the move;

2nd Bishton’s Paper Moons Heavy Fuel to Jaydania, 11 months fawn. Good head with length of foreface on long elegant neck. Level topline. Well angled. Didn’t move as well as 1; 

3rd Lawson & Hunters’ Droolakiss Gold N Glamour.

1st Pocock’s Ravendane Frozen with Tamzdane, 14 months harle. Nicely marked with white background. Good solid bitch. Balanced with level topline. Good angulation aft & fore. Moved well with drive;

 2nd Bishton & Griersons’ Dainwood Treasure Trove at Jaydania, 16 months brindle. Very feminine head with good length of neck. Nicely marked. Good angulation Good front. Tight feet. Didn’t move as well as 1; 

3rd Giedraityte’s La Toya Jackson Arcano.

1st Ellis-Khannas’ Ravendane Maleficent for Harvaxe, harle with lovely long foreface & elegant neck. White background.  Compact. Well constructed though slight slope towards rear on topline. Good angles. Moved better & cleaner than 2;

 2nd Day’s Janriche Miss Congeniality, strong fawn bitch with plenty of bone. Good lay of shoulder. Good spring of rib. Stood square & compact with good angulation. But moved frantically round the ring & not as clean movement as 1; 

3rd White’s Garsak Maia Sunset.

1st Bishton’s Opertunitys Zo Good In Black to Jaydania, pretty young elegant black bitch. Feminine head on neck flowing into correct shoulders. Well filled front. Level topline & good angulation aft & fore. Eyecatching moving with drive & presence.  Very promising. BPB;

2nd Wells’ Primus Rumour Asit at Landgraf, fawn of lovely type & balance. Beautiful head & neck. Correct shoulders with excellent front. Good spring of rib. Good angulation. Moved well but reluctant to be gone over on the day; 3rd Lawson & Hunter’s Droolakiss Stripe A Pose.

1st Day’s Janriche Miss America, very balanced feminine brindle bitch. Lovely head & expression. Good reach of neck. Good front. Level topline & correct croup. Good angulation. Good bone. Overall good outline & shape. Moved with reach & drive covering the ground round the ring. Eyecatching. BB;

2nd White’s Smalltalls Fairytale, elegant fawn. Feminine head on good length of neck. Good front & topline. Good quarters.  Excellent angulation. Moved well;

3rd Drew’s Lindeefay Heart Of Glass.

1st Kelleway’s Jaemluk’s Dannie of Clunton, heavily marked harle. Overall nicely balanced. Feminine head not broad in back skull. Good length of foreface. Well filled front. Correct topline & quarters. Correct angulation. Good bone. Moved well round the ring.

1st Drew’s Lindeefay She’s So Lovely, 8 years fawn, well balanced with good bone. Good angle & topline. Solid girl. Didn’t move so well from behind.

Special O Brindle (1)

1st Lawson & Hunter’s Droolakiss Kerfuffle, another solid bitch with plenty of bone. Heavy in head but generally balanced.  Level topline & good front. Good shoulders & good angulation aft & fore. Tight feet. Movement OK.

Special O Fawn (3,1)

1st Merwick’s Saalan Show And Go, very feminine bitch with nice head & neck. Ample front with correct shoulders. Level topline. Good tailset. Preferred overall shape of this bitch to 2. A little over angled on back legs. Moved OK;

2nd Stemp’s Zefather’s Against All Odds of Mydane, loved the head on this bitch but overall picture not as balanced as 1.  Good shoulders. Her topline wasn’t level & her back end is heavy. Nice tight feet. Very close on back legs on the move.

Special O Black (1)

1st Pepper’s Leamap Black Caviar at Sarawen, balanced bitch with lovely outline & shape. No white markings. Lovely feminine head. Good depth of chest. Level topline. Coat in lovely condition. Good angulation. Moved well round the ring covering the ground.

Special O Blue (6,1)

1st Price’s Leamap Iron Maiden, nicely put together compact bitch. Good length of neck making her look elegant on the move. Good topline & angle. Strong in loin. Tight feet. Covered the ground well;

2nd Walton’s Ravendane Rose Liqueur, lovely feminine head & good reach of neck. Good depth of chest. Level topline but slightly sloping croup & low tail set. Tight feet. Overall nice bitch. A little reluctant on the move; 

3rd Southgate’s Leamap Bombay Sapphire.

1st Smith’s Jorgei Contessa of Lambrini, very clean bitch in lovely condition. Good feminine head & neck. Well filled front.  Level topline. Overall good construction & angles. Moved out well but not so clean & straight coming & going.

1st Black’s Lukyma Athena by Bandwar, lovely balanced compact harle bitch. Good markings on white background. Feminine head & long neck flowing into correct shoulders. Elegant. Good front. Level topline into well angulated quarters. Lovely tight feet. Swept round the ring like she owned it. Well handled. RBB;
